Utilizing the component independence between application and realization, and setting up the software architecture are keys of the system designing. BlueArX model based component design is the important approach of realizing component technology. Based on the latest BlueArX com- ponent technology, Engine Control Unit （ECU） SW architecture designing is investigated in detail.
