According to some problems in the engineering cost, including financial estimation exceeding budget, budget exceeding financial estimation and final accounts exceeding budget, the paper has the whole-process analysis of the investment control of engineering construction, explores the factors affecting the cost control at the investment and decision-making phase, the program design, bidding, construction, com- pletion and final account, and explores the solutions to these problems, so as to lower the engineering cost and realize the profit target.
