The paper presented the process flow, main performance parameters, and equipment configuration features of the pilot-plant unit for ]600mm Steckel mill; it pointed out that the unit, a newly developed multi-purpose multi-metal rolling equipment, is aiming at promoting its application in nonferrous industries and making the breakthroughs in process equipment and key technology.
