摘要
介绍了接受美学理论及其基本概念"空白"与"未定性"、"期待视野"和"审美距离",以及接受理论与翻译研究的关系。随后本文采用了两篇译文,卜立德和王宏分别英译的《柳敬亭说书》。通过分析,在文章的逻辑结构和层次方面卜译的理解比较准确;卜译在语法和惯用法选择方面更符合读者的"期待视野";在保持"审美距离"、增加读者审美经验方面,王译更多地采用意译,而卜译更多地采用了直译,并保留了原文的一些意象以加强读者对中国文化和文学的了解,拓宽了读者的视野。
This paper first introduces the theory of Reception Aesthetics and the relationships between its basic concepts of gap and indeterminacy,horizon of expectancy and aesthetic distance,and reception theory and translation studies. After that,it makes a comparison between the two translation versions of The Liu Jingting Storyteller,separately by Bo Lide and Wang Hong,from the perspective of Reception Aesthetics. Finally,it draws a conclusion on the features of these two versions in terms of Reception Aesthetics and their implications on translation.
