Selection of Guiwangan, an Excellent Line of Huangguogan

从四川汉源县桔橙型天然杂种黄果柑中选出的桂晚柑,具有晚熟、无核、优质、早结、丰产及适应性强等优良经济性状。鲜食采收适期为3月上旬,定植后第3年单株最高产量可达35公斤,年平均气温15℃以上的地区可作经济栽培。因其性状优良,遗传性稳定,到1990年截止已被省内外引种栽植200万株以上,并获得较好的经济效益。

Huangguogan is a natural citrus hybrid of tangor type, which is widely cultivated in Hanyuan county, Sichuan province. Guiwangan, a new line with some outstanding characteristics such as late maturity, seedlessness, good quality, early-bearing, high yield and wide adaptability, was selected from a layering propagated Huangguogan orchard. The fruits of Guiwangan are picked in early March. The Maximum production per tree in third year after planting is 35kg. The areas with annual mean temp rature above 15℃ is suitable for its commercial planting.
