文学伦理学批评与英美现代主义诗歌研究

Ethical Literary Criticism and the Study of Anglo-American Modernist Poetry

作为20世纪上半叶英美诗歌主流,英美现代主义诗歌因其鲜明的形式创新而赢得文学界的好评。但是,从文学伦理学批评的视角对这一诗歌潮流进行考察还鲜有成果。其实,文学伦理学批评不仅完全适用于英美现代主义诗歌研究,而且还是一个非常有价值的研究切入点。因为,英美现代主义诗歌中包含有大量的关注社会道德与伦理的内容,其中最突出的至少有两点:一是揭露和鞭笞现代社会道德沦丧和伦理失序,二是试图通过伦理重建而拯救现代世界。

As the major trend of Anglo-American poetry in the first half of the twentieth century, Anglo-American modernist poetry has been highly praised for its formal experimentation. However, seldom can we find any research achievement concerning this school from the perspective of Ethical Literary Criticism. Our examination shows that Ethical Literary Criticism is not only an efficient perspective to look at the literary school, but also an invaluable one, because Anglo-American modernist poetry embodies a large number of descriptions and comments on modem morality and ethics. In particular, Anglo-American modernist poetry reveals the loss of morality and ethical order in modem society, and the poets intend to save the modem world through reconstruction of ethics.
