高校学报编辑继续教育探讨

On the Continuing Education of Editing Staff Working at University Academic Journals

学术期刊编辑应该具有"专博相济,一专多通"的知识结构,高校学报作为综合性学术期刊,对编辑的知识结构提出了更高的要求,当前许多高校学报编辑的知识结构还不能适应这一要求。积极开展编辑继续教育是解决这一问题的有效途径。继续教育是高层次的职业教育,必须坚持适用性原则,突出应用性和实践性;必须根据编辑学科的特点、编辑素质和技能的要求以及编辑工作实际,选择恰当的教育内容,采取灵活多样、扎实有效的教育形式,保证编辑继续教育取得良好的效果。

Editors of academic journals are expected to be both specialized and versatile, and university academic journals, comprehensive and highly academic, have even higher demands on their editors＇ knowledge and ability. At present, only few editors in university academic journals are capable, and the majority still can not meet this requirement. One effective way to solve this problem is to promote continuing education among the editors. Continuing education, as a vocational education of higher level, must be of sound applica-bility with focus on its practicalness and feasibility. The content and form of continuing education must be in line with the discipline characteristics of editing, the qualification and techniques of the editors as well as the practical situation of editing work, which will ensure a rewarding effect continuing education among editors.
