摘要
《星期评论》是五四时期一份著名的宣传新文化、新思潮的刊物。该刊在一年的时间内发表专门研究女子解放问题的文章35篇。这些文章译介国外女子解放思潮,探讨"中国女子的地位"、"女子和共和之关系"、"女子解放从哪里做起"等问题,提醒人们要警惕新式女子教育中的贤妻良母主义,打破这个"女子的新监狱",极大地推进了五四时期的女子解放运动。以《星期评论》为中心研究五四时期的女子解放思潮,可以起到窥一斑而知全豹的作用。
Weekly Reviewis a journal propagating newculture and ideology during the May 4th Movement Period. This journal published 35 articles specific on issues of women's emancipation during one year. These articles translated and introduced overseas ideology of women's emancipation,discussed issues such as social status of Chinese women,the relationship between women and the republic,howto start with the women's emancipation,and reminded people of being vigilant against the doctrine of doting mother and obedient wife in the newwomen's education which might form a newprison for women. These articles greatly promoted women's emancipation during May4 th Movement Period. They reflect the whole picture of women's emancipation ideology of that period by shedding light on the study of Weekly Review.
