浅议古代孝道的今日转化问题

Traditional Filial Piety in Modern Society

中国传统文化不同于西方文化的一个主要内容,就是具有独特的家文化。"孝"是中国传统家文化中的核心理念,虽然目前学界及社会对何为今日之孝道见仁见智,但对今日孝道的发展方向是平等相处、超越功利,大都不持异议。以此为参照系,不难发现古代孝道总体难以适应现代社会,两者之间存在奴役与自由、专制和民主、义务和权利的根本对立。因此,构造具有时代性、民族性的现代孝道,是我们面临的新课题。

A remarkable factor of Chinese traditional culture,in contrast to western culture,is the family culture. Filial piety has always been considered a key virtue in Chinese family culture. Although there are different opinions about what filial piety should be in modern society,it is agreed that equality and anti- utilitarianism will be the foundation for the future. It is not hard to find there are so many antagonisms between traditional filial piety and modern society,such as enslavement and freedom,autocracy and democracy. So it is necessary to rebuild a new filial piety adapting with modern society.
