Objective This study was designed to reduce X-ray radiation dose received in MSCT multi-phase scanning of urinary system by reducing the tube voltage, in order to minimize iatrogenic radiation injury. Methods All the patients were divided into 3 groups, each group of 15 cases. The first group of patients, scanning parameters was set at 120Kv, the current 120mAs;the second group of patients, voltage 90 Kv, current 120mAs;third group of patients, voltage was 60 Kv, current 120mAs. Each of X-ray dose was measured after MSCT multi-phase scanning of urinary system. Results X-ray radiation doses of three groups patients received was respectively:the first group (120kv) 10.358±0.43 mGy, the second group (90kv) 7.16±0.19 mGy; a third group (60kv) 3.916±0.27 mGy. The radiation doses difference of the three groups received was statistically significant. Analysis of Image Quality:The first group (120kv/120mas) Image Quality:Good 14 cases, 1 cases of qualified, there was no unqualified; the second group (90kv/120mas) Image Quality:Good 10 cases, 5 cases of qualified, there was no unqualified;a third group (60kv/120mas) Image Quality: Good 3 cases, 12 cases of qualified, there was no unqualified. Through statistical analysis of the three groups of difference was not statistically significant. Conclusion Lower votage can reduce the radiation doses significantly during the process of urinary system scanning, and the clinical application of image was little influenced.
