从很早的时候起,我们的祖先就有了非常强烈的吉凶意识,但几有个比较重大的举动或者事情,都要求神问卜,占算一番,结果如果是好就按部就班地去做,不好则就此罢休,讲究的是顺天应时、避凶趋吉。久而久之,这种占算卜问的最典型的经验积累、记录下来,就形成了《易经》这部书。
Sine very long ago, the ancient Chinese people had the strong sense of good or ill luck. On all important occasions, they would like to divine by means of oracle bones. Gradually, the divine experiences were accumulated, which eventually were compiled into a book entitled The Book of Changes.Confucius was an expert of The Book of Changes. The people around him all admired his knowledge and moral quality. So whenever encountering problems, they liked to ask help from him, among which there were issues concerning good or ill luck.Confucius was the opinion that the ancient Chinese people had many views about good or ill luck, which could be summarized into five parts.Part one is about personal morality. For everything, if one could first of all think of not harming the interest of other people, he could get the good luck in stead of the ill luck. Part two is about family. While being filial to the aged people, one should not spoil his children. Only in this way could the family be harmonious. That was good luck. Part three is about country. If a country could put the good people on the important positions, the country would have good luck. Part four is about folk customs. The aged people should feel happy to teach the young people and the young people should be modest. That was good luck. Part five is about the world. The world peace was the best luck.
