高等教育自学考试究竟是不是成人高等教育?——兼论高等教育自学考试制度的归属

Is Self-taught Examination of Higher Education Exactly Adult Higher Education?——Also on Ascription of Self-taught Examination System

学术界对高等教育自学考试是不是归属于成人高等教育有着不同的看法。本文认为,自学考试最初就是作为一种成人高等教育制度而建立的,其受教育主体具有成人性这一成人高等教育最重要的本质属性,其教育活动具有开放性和社会性、针对性和实用性、速成性和速效性、多样性和灵活性等成人高等教育的特点。因此,高等教育自学考试基本可以划归到成人高等教育的范畴,是成人高等教育的一种形式。

Academic community holds different views on whether Self-taught Examination belongs to adult higher education. This paper argues that it was an adult higher education system that Self-taught Examination was originally established, and its education objects are grown-ups, which is the essential attributes of adult higher education. In addition, its educational activities share adult higher education＇ s characteristics such as openness and sociality, pertinence and practicality, speed-up and efficiency as well as diversity and flexibility. Thus, Self-taught Examination could be classified into adult higher education, and it also is a form of adult higher education.
