The deflection theory of right-angle non-zero shift straight-tooth bevel gear is revealed. A linear function relationship on cone distance increment with separation modulus of wheel heart of equivalent gear is inferred and a calculating function of the index bevel-angle is defined. It is confirmed that under special design conditions non-zero shift bevel gear transmission is superiority than equal-shift gear and two mature tooth-types system and a method to determine deflection factor are recommended.
