论现代性与儒学之间的破与立——以价值哲学的中西文化对照为视角

The Destruction and Construction between Modernity and Confucianism——From the Perspective of the Philosophy of Value of Chinese and Western Cultures

现代社会经济发展改变了人的生存方式,人类的生活方式也随着人的存在价值的改变而改变,人与人、人与自然世界之间的关系发生巨大变化。现代性背景下,人成为工具理性实践的根本目的,"人是万物的尺度"成为事实,确立了人的主体性存在,却否定了自然存在的价值,导致人与自然形成主客二分的关系,科技、知识、自由带来的是人与自然关系的严重决裂;人被利益和欲望所绑架,德性缺失、没有自由、无力创造,人成为所谓"单向度的人"。在这样一个多元文化并存的时代,由文明冲突转化为文明对话,展示以儒家文化为主流的中国文化有容乃大的气魄;充分利用儒学价值资源,建构一个和而不同的多元价值存在的人类文明世界显得如此迫切。

The modern social and economic development has changed people's way of life and the human lifestyle has also been changed with the change of existential value. Great changes have taken place in the relationship between man and man,man and the natural world. Under the background of modernity,man has become a fundamental objective of rational tool practice and the fact that ' man is the measure of all things' has come true. It establishes the existence of man's subjectivity but denies the value of natural existence,which has led to the collapse of the subject- object dichotomy between man and nature and the relationship between man and nature brought by science,technology,knowledge and freedom; man has been kidnapped by interests and desires and become the so-called ' one dimensional man',who is lack of virtue,without freedom and unable to create. In the present era of multi- cultural coexistence,the dialogue of civilization transformed from the clash of civilization exhibits the breadth of spirit of Chinese culture with Confucian culture as the mainstream; it seems to be very urgent to build a world of human civilization with harmony in diversity and multi- valued nature by making full use of Confucian value resources.
