In the age of globalization, the function of translation has not merely been the transformation of words and its irre-placeability and the new role should be given more consideration, if Shaanxi Province is determined to promote its cultural industry to a new stage and create value from its cultural resource. Uni-versities are the main force in the cultivation of translation talents, so they must explore the mode of applied translation talents.
