Problem-based learning （PBL teaching method） is a new student-centered teaching method based on real problems. This paper explored the application of PBL teaching method in the teaching of literature searches on chemistry and chemical engineering, holding that the application of PBL teaching method has its unique advantages and can improve teaching effect.
