高校开设民族学课程的探讨

Discussion on the Opening of Ethnology Course in Colleges and Universities

中国是一个多民族的国家,各民族以及同一民族在不同的社会环境、不同观念、不同历史经历等因素下形成了不同的社会文化。不同社会文化造就不同民族的文化自觉、民族心理、民族性格等。我们生活在这样多元文化的大环境之中,面临民族问题是难免的。高校作为培养社会栋梁之才的摇篮,各专业大学生了解民族学知识是解决民族问题的重要途径。鉴于此,笔者从民族学学科特点、高校课程设置存在的问题、设立民族学学科的价值意义以及如何开设的建议等方面试作探析。

China is a multi-ethnic country, and different nation-alities, even the same nationality, form different social cultures in different social environments, different ideas and different histor-ical experiences. Different social cultures create the cultural con-sciousness, national psychology and national character of differ-ent nationalities. Each of us lives in such a multicultural environ-ment, so national problems are inevitable. Colleges and universi-ties are the cradle for cultivating the pillars of the society, and an understanding of ethnology knowledge by universities of different majors is an important way of settling national problems. In view of this, the writer explores from the disciplinary characteristics of ethnology, problems existing in college and university curriculum setting, the value and significance of opening ethnology course as well as suggestions on how to open the course.
