关于哲学,我们一般接受黑格尔和马克思的论述,认为它是思想中的时代,是时代精神的精华。哲学更是时代精神的拓荒事业,是更新时代思想价值观念的精神拓荒事业,这样它才能无愧于"时代精神的精华"和"文明的活的灵魂"的桂冠。拒斥作为形而上学的哲学或固守落后于时代的哲学,不是真正的哲学,更不会成为时代精神和文明灵魂。真正的哲学敢于直面并解决人类面临的价值危机与信仰危机。哲学的本性、思维方式及其特有的批判性,标示哲学不仅不需要成为规范科学,而且必须拒绝成为规范科学。

It is widely accepted that philosophy is closely related to the demarcation of the times and the core of the spirit of the times proposed by Hegel and Karl Marx. Philosophy as the essence of the times and the living soul of civilization is in fact the pioneering spirit of the times and the cornerstone of the innovation of the concepts and ideas of the times. The metaphysical philosophy or out - dated philosophy is not true philosophy which will face directly the value crisis and ideological crisis. The nature, mode of thinking and critique of philosophy reveal that philosophy is not a normative science.
