摘要
文章采用实验与访谈的方式,探究了目标词的显性与隐性注释超链接对我国非英语专业学生在超媒体环境中阅读英语文本及词汇长短时记忆效果的影响。结果表明:与目标词无注释超链接文本相比,目标词有注释超链接文本能显著提高学生的阅读理解效果,而与隐性注释超链接文本相比,显性注释超链接文本对于提高学生的阅读理解效果更为有效;与目标词隐性注释超链接文本相比,显性注释超链接文本仅对词汇的短时记忆效果与保持产生积极影响,而对词汇的长时记忆效果影响不大。
Using the research instruments of experiment and interview, this study investigated the effect of visible and invisible annotation hyperlinks of target words on Chinese Non-English major students' English reading comprehension and vocabulary acquisition in a hypermedia environment. Findings suggest that reading passages with annotation hyperlinks significantly benefits passage comprehension, as opposed to reading passages without annotation hyperlinks, and that the best performance was observed in the environment of visible annotation hyperlinks of target words, as opposed to the environment with invisible annotation hyperlinks. It is also found that visible annotation hyperlinks facilitate short-term memory of vocabulary but do not have significant impacts on long-term memory.
