Stress is an important factor affecting people＇s lives. There are few areas of contemporary psychology that receive more attention than stress. As a branch of stress research, Conservation of Resource theory is presented as an alternative. The article starts from definitions, main contents and initial research development of the COR theory. In the subsequent parts, latest researches from abroad are categorized and summarized. In the end, it point out the implication for management studies and practice in the future.
