地方高校图书馆特色数据库建设现状调查分析

Investigation and Analysis on the Construction Status of the Characteristic Database in Local University Libraries

目前,20所黑龙江省地方本科高校图书馆共建有70个特色数据库,包括馆藏多媒体资源数据库、本校学位论文数据库及本校专业特色数据库三类。这些特色数据库的建设存在着深层次开发不够,向社会开放程度不够、利用率低,名称不规范、缺乏统一性及建设、发展不均衡等问题,这些问题需要各高校图书馆从以下4个方面予以完善:进一步加大地域文化特色数据库的建设力度、成立区域性地方高校图书馆特色数据库建设机构、加强特色数据库的宣传力度、对特色数据库进行定期维护与更新。

There are seventy characteristic databases constructed by twenty local university libraries in Heilongjiang Province at present, which are divided into the collection multimedia resource database, the dissertation database and the specialized characteristic database. The construction of these characteristic databases has some problems, such as the deep level development is insufficient, the inadequate open to the society, the low utilization rate, the nonstandard name, the lack of the unity, and the imblance development. University libraries should take improvement measures from following four strengthening： further increasing the construction power of regional culture characteristic databases, establishing the characteristic database construction institution of regional local university libraries, strengthening the propaganda power of the characteristic database, and maintaining and updating the characteristic database regularly.
