Development of Braking Force Compensation System for Wheel Clamping Devices

摘要 轮边制动器的智能化对提高轮边制动器内部碟簧断裂情况下港口起重机械设备的防风安全性具有重要意义。提出了一种添加了压力传感器和液压补偿机构的智能型轮边制动器,并设计了监控系统,最后进行仿真实验验证控制压力补偿系统控制逻辑的正确性。该监控系统可通过串口通讯进行信息化管理,能够同时监控8个轮边制动器,对制动力下降等存在安全隐患及时报警,并自动补偿至安全值。 Smart control systems are important for wheel clamping devices of dock hammer cranes and tall harbor hoisting machineries against wind draft. A kind of smart wheel clamping devices with tension sensor and hydraulic actuator is proposed, and a monitoring system is designed. Numerical simulation and real experiment are carried out to validate functions and control logic of the prototype system. The monitoring and control system can conduct information management via serial port communication, and can be applied to detect and control 8 wheel clamping devices on real time simultaneously. In the case of emergency, for example, when some of the clamping devices happen in failure, the smart system is stimulated to compensate the loss of total braking force up to a safety level.
