Brain maturaity, personality traits, parental support, living environment, and social culture, etc can affect the development of emotion regulation in adolescents. These above variables should be taken into accounts in the future investigations on so- cio-emotional regulation, which is important to further understand the development of emotion regulation in adolescents. At the same time, researches on development of emotion regulation in adolescents should provide a theoretical framework for the intervention and training on adolescents ＇ emotion regulation strategy.
