Combined with an engineering case in the area of Chenjia Town in Chongming Island, Shanghai, this paper introduces the design key points of greening bridge decks in detail. Through the checking calculations of the upper structures, it is beneficial to study, explore and create in the bridge deck waterproof & drainage structures measures. Although the overall economic index has been increased slightly, the social & ecological benefits are obvious and the expected objectives have been realized.
