摘要
博厄斯文化相对论认为每个文化都有自己独一无二的历史,并有其独创性和充分价值,以此思想为基础,文章首先论证了通识教育思想与文化相对论对民族文化、个体发展方面关注的共同性。作者提出目前中国通识教育的发展还应关注多民族文化在普通大学的教育、弥补宗教文化教育之不足和进行保持民族文化传统教育以及科学教育的观点。
According to Boas' cultural relativism, each culture has its unique history and creativity and values. Based on this assumption, this paper analyzes the commonness between the general knowledge education and cultural relativism in terms of their attention to ethnic culture and individual development. It is argued that pluralistic ethnic cultures can pro- vide useful assistance for university education in rendering an improved educational system, overcoming the inadequacy of religious education, maintaining advanced ethnic cul- tural traditions and promoting scientific education.
