Recently, the first expander cycle LOX/ LH engine of LM-5 second stage in the test sample stage successfully eomplet-ed all the research tests and initial test, and entered its qualification, acceptance and delivery stage. The engine has successively achieved 17 techni- cal breakthroughs in design, process and test includ- ing engine starting, dynamic property of high-speed rotor. The key technical difficulties such as in wall ablation of the thrust chamber have been solved.
