摘要
助产士在民国妇婴卫生工作中担当着重要角色,她们推行新式接生法,普及现代妇婴卫生知识,促进了民国医疗事业的发展。助产士的专业化发展一方面受社会各种因素的影响,另一方面也是国民政府重视和支持的结果。
Midwives play important roles in the maternal and infant health work during the period of the Republic of China for they introduce new delivering method, popularize modern knowledge of maternal and infant health and promote the development of the medical cause of the Republic of China. On the one hand, the professional development of midwives is influenced by various social factors;on the other hand, it is also a result of the attention and support of the national government.
