This paper analyzes the current situation and problems of engineering cost management, putting forward the concept of the whole team of engineering cost management based on that. Meanwhile, the paper gives a comprehensive exposition of the principles, technology, application based on BIM technology in the whole team of engineering cost management and how to make advantage of BIM technology to improve the cost management ability of whole team.
