对一起凌晨使用蜡烛不慎引起的火灾进行分析,在现场没有目击证人、无法取得直接证据的前提下,调查人员收集和利用间接证据,结合模拟实验,运用排除法,完成间接证据形成闭合证据链认定火灾原因,对利用间接证据认定起火原因的火灾调查工作提供借鉴。

The fire was caused by using the candle carelessly in the midnight. There was no witness nor any direct evidence, so it is difficult to identify the reason of the fire at the first beginning. The case shows a way that how to collect and use the in direct evidences, as well as experiment simulation and exclu sion, to form a clue of close knit evidences. It is a typical refer ence for identifying the causes of fires by indirect evidences.
