摘要
赤泥是生产氧化铝过程中产生的矿渣,其强碱性和高放射性给周边环境带来了严重的危害。在分析总结赤泥基本物理化学特性的基础上,论述了赤泥近几年来利用不同热处理手段进行活化后的新颖应用领域。研究发现,通过对原状赤泥进行高温煅烧(600℃)、加酸(HCl、H2SO4)活化后再高温煅烧、高温煅烧后再机械力研磨3种措施处理后,能够较大程度激发其活性,为赤泥作为促凝剂、吸附剂、催化剂等新颖应用提供理论依据。
Red mud is a kind of tailing residue produced in AlzOa processing. It brings serious harm to sur- rounding environment because of its strong basicity and high radioactivity. On the basis of analyzing and summarizing basic physical and chemical properties of red mud, its novel application fields after it is activated by different heat- treatment methods in recent years are reviewed. Researches show that the activation of red mud can be largely simula- ted through three ways, which is high-temperature calcination(600 ~C), high-temperature calcination after acidifica tion(HC1 or H2 SO4 ) and machine grinding after high-temperature calcination. This provides theoretical basises for red mud to be newly applied as coagulant, adsorbent, catalyst and so on.
