摘要
本文描述分析了第四届"外教社杯"全国高校外语教学大赛听说组29名选手的课堂教学目标设计和教学活动安排。文章指出,大部分选手设定了教学目标,但目标存在不具体、不明确等问题;就教学活动而言,大多数选手仍旧沿用传统教学模式,活动形式比较简单,不符合现代教学环境对学生学习方式的要求。文章进而提出,教学目标应根据大学英语课程标准、学校对学生英语学习的要求、教材本身特点和学生实际情况设计。课堂活动应根据教学目标和学生特点组织安排,兼顾学生的课内外学习需求,发挥课堂教学的基本功能,培养学生的自主学习能力。
This paper analyzes the teaching objectives and classroom activities of the demonstration classes given by 29 contestants from the "Listening and Speaking" group in the 4th SFLEP National Foreign Language Teaching Contest. It is found that some contestants don't have any clear objective for their class except the contents or procedures of the class. As for classroom activities, almost all the contestants follow the traditional teaching procedure of listening for general idea, listening for details and discussion, failing to match the activities with what is available to the students and what is required of them outside the classroom. The paper further points out that teaching objectives need to be set in accordance with the college English curriculum standards, the specific requirements of the college, the features of teaching materials and the language competence of students. Meanwhile, classroom activities should be designed and organized to achieve teaching objectives, meet students' needs for study, and promote their learner autonomy.
