Based on the simulation technology of sheet forming based on numerical simulation software Autoform , tak- ing the cylindrical parts for example, discussed the whole process of numerical simulation from CAD model to CAE deep drawing, predicted the possible defects of the sheet in the forming process, which can save a lot of time for modification and optimization timely in mold manufacture process, effectively solve the problem of parametric adjustment on the mold shape , and provided reliability assurance for mold design.
