Completion acceptance for highway engineering is last link of the whole project construction process, and it is important link for comprehensive assessment and evaluation of construction result and quality, checking the project entity whether meets the design requirements. The on-site inspection is of great significance as part of the completion acceptance work. Given this, based on analyzing the main pur- pose, role and condition of completion acceptance, the paper describes the necessity of conducting on- site inspection, personnel structure, responsibilities, work content and form of work, in hope of providing reference for peers.
