近代基督教在中国传教活动频繁,传教过程中凸显着中西方文明的差异。文章以桂林地区为考察视阈,从文明史观和全球史观的角度,考察近代基督教借助西方先进的教育理念、医疗卫生设备、慈善事业等手段传播宗教理论的过程。探究近代基督教在桂林传教过程中,中西文明的冲突与交融问题。为解决中西方文明的冲突提供借鉴,为提升文化桂林的地位寻找新路径。

There are frequent modern Christian missionary activities, and its missionary process highlights the difference between Chinese and Western cultures. From the perspective of the historical view of civiliza- tion and the globe, this paper investigates into the spreading process of modern Christian in Guilin area by the advanced Western educational concept, medical equipments, charities and other means. It explores the conflict and blend of Chinese and Western cultures in the process of modern Christianity＇s spreading in Gull- in, which provides reference for solving the conflict between Chinese and Western cultures and finds a new path to promote the cultural position of Guilin.
