摘要
镱(Yb)是一种性质较为特殊的稀土元素,对金属材料的合金化作用与效果也与其他重稀土元素有所不同。本文对近年来在铝合金与镁合金结构材料中添加微量Yb的实验研究进行了概述,分析了稀土Yb独特的改性作用和强韧化效果。并结合自身课题组的工作对Yb在镁合金中的合金化改性作用前景进行了探讨和展望,认为Yb是一种在新型铝合金和镁合金的开发中有较大研究和应用价值的稀土元素,尤其是对Yb在镁合金中的作用应重新认识。
Ytterbiumis a distinct rare earth element, and the alloying effects on metals and alloys are different from other rare earths. The profile of the recent studies about small addition of Yb in aluminum and magnesium alloys was summarized and the special modified and strengthened effects of Yb were commented. The perspective of applying Yb in magnesium alloys was discussed and Yb is a valuable rare earth element in the development of new aluminum and magnesium alloys. Especially, the role of Yb in magnesium alloys should be rediscovered.
