This paper introduces the application of desalting demulsifier in the south distillation in the Pet- roChina Jinxi Petrochemical Company, presents a new design concept of demulsifiers for crude, In the la- boratory a comprehensive evaluation of the new type demulsifier for crude is conducted on the small dy- namic electric desalting unit and the industrial application was in the South distillation desalting device.
