“Showing Off One's Knowledge” and “Keeping Up Appearance and Lavishness”——One of Qu Yuan's View on Literature

文学史上对屈原的评价有一定的争议。从屈原创作的主观意图来看,其抒情有直接的功利性因素;从创作的形式因素和艺术因素来看,存在着张扬自己文才的现象。这些创作倾向对以汉赋与六朝骈赋为代表的"铺张扬厉"式的形式主义文学有着重要影响。

The evaluation of Qu Yuan in the literary history has some controversy. From the creation of Qu Yuan’s subjective intent of view, the lyric has a direct utilitarian factors. From the point of view of form and artistic factors of creation, there is a phenomenon of publicizing his own literary talent. This tendency for the creation has a great impact on the formalism literature of“keeping up appearance and lavishness”, which is represented by rhythmical prose and verse prose of Han Dynasty and the Six Dynasties.
