青年白领社会焦虑现象的本质:中产地位身份威胁

Essence of Social Anxiety Among Young White-collars:the Threatened Middle Class Status

目前,我国青年白领的社会焦虑不是个别现象,已成为社会问题,这不单纯是社会环境变迁所致。以社会认同威胁理论为视角,从社会焦虑来源、社会心理机制和消极社会后果三个方面来分析,青年白领社会焦虑的本质在于中产地位身份威胁,其中"环境不确定性"和"低效能评估"构建了青年白领社会焦虑的社会心理机制。因此,要缓解这种焦虑首先要解决中间层合法化问题;其次须建立公平竞争的流动机制;再次应扩展他们的政治参与渠道。

In today＇s China, social anxiety is not an isolated phenomenon among young white-collars; instead, it has become a social problem. This is not simply due to the changing social environment. Starting from the perspective of theory on threat to social identity, we can analyze the problems in three aspects ： sources of social anxiety, social and psychologi- cal mechanisms, and negative social consequences. The essence of social anxiety among young white-collars lies with the threat to their middle-class status, among which the major factors are ＂environmental uncertainty＂ and ＂inefficient assess- ment＂ that constitute the social and psychological mechanisms leading to young white-collars＇ social anxiety. Therefore, to alleviate this anxiety, we should firstly solve the problem of the legitimacy of the middle class ; secondly, we should estab- lish a fair and just competition mechanism; thirdly, we should expand channels for their political participation.
