The historical anthropology of American anthropologist Marashall Sahline mainly analyzes the death of Captain Cook and the structural transformation of Hawaiian Islands triggered by colonization. Sahline attempts to eliminate the bridge between synchronic /Diachronic study and structure /history and sets up a structural and historical anthropology.
