摘要
通过对240名不同英语水平的医学专业大学生进行学习动机缺失问卷调查,分析了不同英语水平非英语专业大学生学习动机缺失因素的差异。因子分析确认了引起被试学生英语学习动机缺失的8大类因素。方差分析结果显示,"课堂教学内容"和"英语学能"两因素对中、高、低水平学生学习动机缺失的影响有显著性差异;中、高水平学生的动机缺失受"课堂教学内容"这一外部因素影响较大,而低水平学生的动机缺失则受"英语学能"这一内部因素的影响较深。
This study aims to examine the demotivating differences among non-English majors with different English proficiency. Based on a demotivation questionnaire for 240 Chinese medical students with different English proficiency levels, eight factors contributing to the subjects' demotivation are extracted. Results of the ANOVA indicate that: the differences are significant among students with different English proficiency with respect to "classroom learning contents" and "English aptitude", the external factor "classroom learning contents" is more demotivating for students of intermediate and high proficiency while the internal factor "English aptitude" was more demotivating for students of lower proficiency.
