Chinese High-speed railways to build up overseas

高铁已经成为一张新的中国外交名片.一位常年从事外交活动的工作人员告诉《中国经济周刊》，现在的外事代表团访华，在时间允许的情况下，都会安排他们乘坐京津或京沪高铁来感受中国“高铁奇迹”。外宾们拿出手机对着车厢内电子显示屏上不断变化的行驶速度拍照的场景，一度令旁边的中国乘客感到新奇。2013年6月23日，美国《纽约时报》的一篇文章《高铁改变中国》称，“毫无疑问，高铁已经以意想不到的方式改变了中国”，“中国的高铁系统已经成了一个出乎人们意料的成功故事”。
