The relevant data of the consumption structure of the residents in Liaoning and Shenyang area are handled and analyzed by factor analysis method. The various factors affecting the consumption structure are explored; and the trends and regularity of the factors are revealed. The evolution of residents＇ consumption structure is predicted, to promote the virtuous cycle of the national economy of Liaoning and Shenyang area, and meet people＇s growing material and cultural needs.
