Discussing LI Defeng's Three Strategies for the Translation of Translation Studies Terms

摘要 英国翻译理论家芒迪写的《翻译学导论—理论与实践》由李徳凤等译成中文。研究发现译者以读者为中心,在译学术语的翻译中采用了三个策略:第一,核心术语"translation studies"的中译"翻译学"具有一致性;第二,书中的译学术语均采用"中译文加原文"的翻译策略;第三,在附录中增加了"英汉词汇对照表",即"译学术语表"。 With eleven other translators, LI Defeng adopted the "reader-oriented translation approach" in translating into Chinese Jeremy Munday' s Introducing Translation Studies: Theories and Applications in 2006. The author of this article, one of the readers or users of the translated work, identifies the strategies adopted by the translators for translating the terms on translation studies to comply with their translation criterion. The most significant findings can be stated as follows : 1 ) Consistence is the strategy for the translation of the central term of "translation studies" repeatedly used in the book ; 2 ) TT with ST ( Chinese version with English original) for some key translation studies terms put in brackets is a strategy for the reader' s reference ; and 3 ) An E-C table for translation studies terms is available for the reader in the appendix.
