摘要
国外已经对转喻进行过眼动实验研究,国内目前还没有看到。本研究首次以眼动实验对比方法探讨转喻的认知机制以及有无信息提示对转喻理解的影响。实验的自变量是有无信息提示和是否为转喻,因变量指标包括关键区的第一注视时间、第一轮阅读时间、总阅读时间和回归路径阅读时间。实验材料是受试者熟悉的转喻句和字面句。结果表明:(1)字面解释与转喻解释是同时进行的,所需理解时间没有区别;(2)转喻理解受信息提示影响。
Cognitive mechanism in metonymy and some effects of previous verbal context upon metonymic comprehension are investiga- ted in this eye-tracking experiment. There are four independent variables in the experiment: metonymy interpretation, literal in- terpretation and with previous verbal context and without previous verbal context. And the relative measures of dependent varia- bles contain the first fixation duration, the first pass reading time, total reading time and regression path reading time. The stimu- li are familiar metonymic sentences and literal sentences to the subjects. The results show that both literal sentences and me- tonymic sentences are processed simultaneously, which is consistent with parallel model of metonymic comprehension. The results also show that previous verbal context has some influnce on metonymic comprehension, which is congruent with the schema model and the "process priming" hypothesis.
