This article mainly focuses on the series of theoretical questions of the construction of Chinese-English parallel Corpus of Tra- ditional Chinese Medicine. At first, the author discusses the theoretical basis of the Chinese-English parallel Corpus of Tradition- al Chinese Medicine from the perspective ~f World English theories, Chinese English theories. In the section of literature review, the author looks back on the development of the parallel corpora ; later, the sampling and representativeness of the parallel corpus are discussed. The author also discusses how the corpus will be built and the significance of the building of the Chinese-English parallel Corpus of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
