The simple and feasible method for carrying out the intermediate checks for an ex-tensometer is introduced based on the laboratory condition. By this method the tensile test for the elastic range of the same tensile sample is carried out by using the extensometer and thus the working condition of the extensometer can be verified by the modulus of elasticity E determined based on comparison, which can be the reference basis for confirming the working accuracy of the extensometer.
