The software framework and main control function of the monitoring software based on GPRS wireless serial port designed by visual C# is presented. Applying abundant controls, powerful database programming capability, visual programming of visual C# and transparent transmission protocol of GPRS wireless serial port, the software realized real time monitoring, measurement controlling, buoyancy data displaying, storing in database, Access database transforming to Excel or Text, the fault of the measurement system inquiring and reporting. The software is utilized in a chamnel monitoring system based on GPRS wireless serial port and completely meets the system＇s demand.
