The new idea and new technology of Ningbo Port Zhenhai Harbor District Land Reclamation Project are expounded in general from 7 aspects such as bottom protection design, levee body and pavement design, scheme comparison between composite dike and common riprap dike, key principles needing attentions during construction of composite dike, as well as technical innovation concerning application of composite dike at the areas of complicated geological conditions.
