摘要
我国博物馆事业经历了百余年的发展历程,目前,又迎来了新的发展机遇,全国多地提出建设"博物馆之城"。为了探讨建设"博物馆之城",本文以广州为例,指出不能仅拘泥于博物馆数量之多,更重要的是要提高博物馆的质量,完善博物馆的基础设施,增加博物馆馆藏,提高博物馆的展示水平和服务质量,增强公众对博物馆的认知度和参与度,使博物馆事业真正成为城市的一项文化品牌。
Museums in China yielded favorable results after over a hundred years of development. New chances emerged again and the target of constructing the city of museums has been launched all over the country. This article, takes Guangzhou for example, proposed some new opinions on how to construct the city of museums, by pointing out the fact that rather than paying much attention to the increase of the museum numbers, improving facilities, enlarging collections, enhancing museum's exhibitions and services, and increasing the understanding and participation of the public to the museum will eventually help the museums in Guangzhou develop into one of the City's cultural brand.
