The paper systematically introduces arisen malfunction status of steam turbine after operating 3 years later, analyzes and surveys from steam quality, finds out malfunction reasons are because calcium and magnesium overproof sometimes in steam, which causes vane scaling, in addition, it analyzes location of the scaling. After washing with wet steam, the effect is remarkable.
